Adapter
As well as extension cables and a selection of chargers for your mobile phone, you can get them at reception for a deposit of CHF 30.–.
Pharmacies
are located not far from the hotel in the basement of the city gate at Winterthur train station.
Doctor
Please contact reception if you need an emergency doctor.
Car rental
For information about rental cars, please contact reception.
Cots
can be ordered free of charge at reception.
Bar
There is a bar in the Steakhouse Argentina restaurant.
Bank/ATM
is located in the train station pedestrian underpass towards the center of Winterthur. You can find out the opening times and locations of the surrounding banks at the reception.
bed linen
is made of high-quality down material; we also have synthetic bed linen for allergy sufferers. If necessary, please contact reception.
Do not disturb
If you do not want to be disturbed, please hang the sign outside the door. When leaving the room, please remove this so that the maid can clean your room. This usually happens between 7.00 a.m. and 14.00 p.m.
boarding pass
Please send this by email to wartmann@wartmann.ch and it will be printed out for you at reception.
Fire prevention
Please help to prevent fires. If there is a fire alarm, please note the escape plan in your room. If there is a fire alarm, never use the elevator. If the escape route is blocked: Stay in the room, close the door and make yourself noticeable (telephone, window).
Iron and ironing board
are available free of charge upon request. Please contact reception or help yourself (on each floor in front of room number 6). You are welcome to keep your iron and ironing board in your room during your stay.
Check in/Check out
Your room will be ready from 3 p.m. If you would like to check in earlier, please contact reception. We ask that you check out by 12 p.m. on the day of departure. Please contact reception to find out about the options and costs for a later departure (max. by 1.30 p.m.).
blanket
Would you like an additional blanket or wool blanket? Please report to reception. We will be happy to bring an additional blanket into your room free of charge.
Defective facility
Is the hairdryer not working in your room or is the window stuck? Please report defective equipment to us as quickly as possible so that the building services department can respond immediately.
shopping
Whether it's a fashionable boutique, a sophisticated jewelry store, a traditional market or a simple second-hand shop, whether it's a large or small shopping mall: you'll find what you're looking for in Winterthur. Please inquire at reception about opening times and directions.
Ice
Available upon request in the restaurant.
Electrical connections
The entire house is equipped with 220 volt connections. If you have any questions, please contact reception.
Floor service
Do you need an extra towel, soap, washcloth, extra pillow, extra blanket? Contact reception. We would be happy to bring these to your room free of charge.
Bicycles
Regardless of whether you are going shopping in the city or for an adventure tour to the Bäumli viewpoint: you can rent Flyer brand e-bikes at the reception for a deposit of CHF 50.
TV
All rooms have a color television with satellite reception. Channel 39 is not suitable for viewers under 18 years of age.
Fire alarm
Please familiarize yourself with the escape plan on the door in your room. If there is a fire alarm, never use the elevator. If the escape route is blocked: Stay in the room, close the door and make yourself noticeable (phone, window).
Fitness
Since we do not have a fitness area, we recommend the Fitnessplus studio right next to our hotel: www.fitnessplus.ch/Tel. +41 52 202 64 64. As a hotel guest you pay CHF 15 per visit (normal price CHF 26). Please contact reception.

Flight: Arrival & Departure
Zurich-Kloten international airport is approx. 20 km away and can be reached in 13 minutes by train or 80 minutes by taxi (approx. CHF 100 to CHF 20). Information about arrivals and departures is available at reception or at www.flughafen-zuerich.ch

We will be happy to copy documents for you at the reception for CHF –.40 per page.
Fruits
You can find fresh apples to take away at the reception.
breakfast
Our rich breakfast buffet is included in the room price. The breakfast room is on the ground floor in our courtyard hall. We serve breakfast from Monday to Sunday.

Please hand in lost property at reception. If you have lost something, please report this to reception.

Porcelain
Cutlery, glasses and plates are available upon request at reception.
Liability
If you intentionally destroy something, we reserve the right to charge you the amount of the damage. The hotel assumes no liability for personal items.
Hairdryer
A hairdryer is located in the bathroom area of your room.
Pets
Dogs are welcome for a fee of CHF 20 per day per animal (without food). Please note that dogs must be kept on a leash in and around the house.
Heating/air conditioning
The room temperature is the same throughout the house. The room temperature can be regulated individually via the heating radiators and the air conditioning directly in the room. We would be happy to put an electric radiator on wheels or a fan in your room. Please contact reception.
Hygiene products
Various hygiene items such as: toothpaste/brush, comb, nail file, cotton swabs, disposable razors and shower caps are available free of charge at reception. The bathroom also contains free shampoo and shower products as well as body lotion.
Internet (high speed)
The wireless LAN is free throughout the house. Use the Wi-Fi assistant on your notebook or smartphone to dial in under WARTMANN or MOBILE. You will receive the password at reception. Rooms 1 to 7 also have a hard LAN connection.
coffee and tea maker
A coffee and tea maker including accessories are available in your room free of charge. Please contact reception on 611 if you would like more.
Church
We will be happy to provide you with information about churches, prayer rooms and their opening times at reception. Information about the local regional churches can be found at www.refkirchewinterthur.ch and www.kath-winterthur.ch.
Pillow
Would you like an additional pillow? Whether you want a millet or neck pillow, please contact reception. We will be happy to bring your desired pillow to your room free of charge.

Credit cards/checks
We accept Visa, Mastercard, EC-Maestro, CUP Union Pay, Diners Club, Amercian Express and Postcard. We cannot accept Reka Cards and checks.
Lift
The hotel has two passenger lifts right next to the reception. If there is a fire alarm, please use the stairs and emergency exits.
Lounge & Bar
The large, inviting lounge next to the reception is available for conversations, breaks, relaxing and smoking (separate area).
Museums Winterthur
has some world-famous museums. The Oskar Reinhart Collection “am Römerholz” enjoys an excellent international reputation. The art museum and the photography museum in Winterthur are also highly recommended. Current brochures for the exhibitions are available at the reception.

Lost button? You can get free sewing supplies around the clock at reception.
Non smoking rooms
All of our rooms are non-smoking. If smoking is allowed in a room, a cleaning fee of CHF 150 will be charged. We reserve the right to pass on any costs for false alarms involving the fire department in the amount of CHF 1200.
Emergencies
Please contact reception directly at any time. For minor emergencies, there is a first aid box at reception with disinfectant spray, bandages and plasters. For medical assistance in a medical emergency, dial 0-144.
Public toilets
are located in the basement.
Parking
Our hotel does not have any on-site parking spaces. We recommend that you park your car on the opposite side of the street in the public station car park at a special rate of CHF 15 per 24 hours. Please show your ticket at reception before leaving.
Post
Mail is delivered Monday to Saturday and stored for you at reception. For outgoing mail, please contact reception. Postcards from Winterthur and stamps are also available at the reception.
Radio
All rooms are equipped with a radio receiver integrated into the television.
Smoking
For our smokers there is a separate, comfortable area in the lounge next to the reception.
Reception
At night a porter watches over your sleep and ensures your safety. You can reach the reception via number 611.
Umbrellas
Please return it after use.
Reservation
We are happy to accept your room reservations around the clock by telephone, email or online - or simply contact the reception.
Safe
There is a safe in every room. We recommend that you leave your personal belongings and valuables in the safe. You can lock the safe with a code of your own choosing; A detailed operating manual is included with the safe.
Pool
We recommend the Geiselweid outdoor/indoor swimming pool, about a 25-minute walk from the hotel.
souvenirs
On the upper floor of the Manor shopping center and at Winterthur Tourismus in the train station building you will find a large selection of souvenirs from Winterthur and Switzerland. For further information please contact reception.

There are several sockets in the room. If you have any questions, please contact the reception. We also have adapters available for you.
Taxi
Our reception will be happy to order a taxi for you; This will usually arrive within 10 minutes.
Phone
Dial 0 for an external connection. Reception can be reached at 611. To call other rooms, dial the desired room number directly.
Theater
In addition to the city theater and the Casino Theater Winterthur, there are numerous smaller theaters located in Winterthur.
Toiletries
Additional toiletries such as a shaving kit, soap, comb, nail file, cotton swabs, shower caps, feminine hygiene products, toothbrush and toothpaste are available free of charge at reception.
Tours/Excursions
We would be happy to organize excursions or tours for you. You can find a selection in the “Best of Switzerland Tours” brochure. You can book these tours directly at reception.
Water
Our tap water is safe to drink. A kettle with instant coffee and various tea bags is available free of charge in every room. The bottle of mineral water in the room is free. Additional drinks can be found in the snack machine in the hotel lobby.
Laundry/Dry Cleaning
Please hand in the clothes to be cleaned or washed in a laundry bag with the completed form at the reception by 12.00 noon. You can find the relevant bags and forms in your wardrobe. You will receive your laundry back by 12.00 p.m. the following day. With an express service (surcharge of CHF 20), you will receive the laundry back on the same day.
wake-up service
Order your wake-up call at reception. The wake-up call is made via the telephone.
Room key cards
Please always carry your key card with you. Entry is possible around the clock with the key card. If you press the green button on the door lock in your room, it cannot be opened from outside.
